My senior year of high school I did a two week immersion service project for the Cherry Creek School District. I acted as a preschool teacher’s aide while I was there. I loved working with the kids, even though they sometimes seem impossible to deal with. I would say this was my biggest test of patience ever, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
